Lady Inerva Darkvein. Normal.

To the surprise of all of us, this is not the simple zerg it is in LFR. We did finally get our first, very famous “Kinetic Kill” on this boss. We found the soft enrage and managed to eek out a kill. Sure the last 2-3% of the boss was mad chaotic, but it instantly reminded the old timers (myself especially) of many previous boss fights from Vanilla on.

This kill took us to 5/10 (also known as half way). Just in time for the holiday season. Happy Holidays y’all.

p.s. Not that Starbucs will ever see this, but thank you for realizing you weren’t playing well and logging. A+ accountability.

Artificer Xy’Mox. Normal.

In a stunning turn of events, Sanka followed through for us (love you bro, no pause). He brought his merry band of nerds so we didn’t have to list our raid to the world. Thank goodness Blizzard enabled this high level of casualness that allows us to group with people on any US server.

The skeletons prove it took a little more time to tweak our portals, but we did it. Let the record show there was one pull where my warlock (Dycus) was top DPS. Mostly because I just happened to outlast everyone, but still… you should all be ashamed of yourselves.

Hungering Destroyer. Normal.

Disregard the skeletons on the ground. It’s from being super good at doing raid mechanics, I promise you. The RNG Gods rewarded Hads & Pdklol for coming to carry us to victory by giving them loot. Since when is this game fair?

Afterward, we cleared the trash to Lady Inerva like the LFR lemmings we are before deciding to switch gears towards Artificer Xy’Mox. We totally got two BOE drops, so at least that was something. We got pretty decent at the mechanics, but our officially scheduled raid time approached. We responsibly called it. Casual life, I tell you what. It’s nice.

Will we slay more foes on the easiest setting? Maybe. Stay tuned!

Huntsman. Normal.

We did a thing again (well twice again). Despite frustrating efforts to even get enough people to zone in, we finally came back to Castle Nathria. Since the first, and only, night it seems as though Mish became a Warlock and Stirno became a Shaman (though under a different name). As expected, we hunted and poor Altimor died.

I know this is Normal and we even pulled two pugs in, but that’s casual life. It’s ok, right? Please tell me it’s ok…

Shriekwing. Normal.

So we sort of did a thing last night. Nothing terribly special by current day standards or previous Kinetic standards, but a thing nonetheless. Nerv called dibs on MT. Former enhance shaman Killrog turned Monk? Yeah, OT. Two healers who are playing WoW for the first time? Sure. A majestic MFer clinging to his warrior and a terrible fury spec? Why not! The list goes on (sorry Stirno, Kalinaj Hads, Flaile Hints, Piusx Mikey, Zeitgeist Baddate… I ran out of semi-witty things to say).

Kinetic killed something that has happened in PUGs already. We killed Shriekwing on normal. But damn it was fun. We then wiped on Huntsman graciously for a bit before calling it very calmly at our regularly scheduled ending time. Is this casual raiding? Not bad.
